Job Summary
Coordinate daily construction activities across the project, develop three-week look-ahead programs, and monitor productivity against budget. Manage procurement, subcontractors, and material deliveries while assisting with variations and commercial reporting. Build client relationships, oversee quality assurance documentation, and maintain drawing registers, RFIs, and survey coordination. Conduct safety walks, audits, and support high-risk work planning to ensure compliance with HSEQ requirements. Assist with monthly reporting and project certifications. Work with one of Australia's leading civil construction contractors on a major renewable energy infrastructure project in Muswellbrook, NSW.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or equivalent
- Previous experience as a Site Engineer delivering civil infrastructure, renewable energy, transport or major construction projects
- Demonstrated experience in bulk earthworks, road construction, FRP (Flood Recovery Program) projects, drainage and sewage infrastructure works
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing and project delivery
- Experience coordinating subcontractors, plant and site activities
- Sound commercial awareness, procurement and cost control experience
- Knowledge of quality assurance systems, testing requirements and HSEQ compliance
- Strong understanding of survey coordination, RFIs and project documentation
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Current Australian Driver's License
- Full Australian working rights
