Job Summary
Site Engineer on Northumbrian Water Living Water Enterprise contract; responsible for setting out operations per test/inspection, site management and ‘as built’ surveys, assisting the Site Manager with initial set-up, safety standards and planning, and contributing to financial control by logging material deliveries and monitoring plant levels. Requires CSCS and SSSTS, and a HNC or Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent experience); knowledge of civil engineering principles, methods, materials, and strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills; valid driving licence and willingness to travel to sites within the region. Involves working on-site in Sunderland, UK with opportunity for career progression and professional chartership.
Required Qualifications
- CSCS and SSSTS
- HNC / Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience
- Understand civil engineering principles and practices
- An understanding of methods, materials and technical aspects relevant to the project
- Excellent organisation and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders
- A valid driving licence and willingness to travel to sites across your operational region
