Job Summary
Set out detailed works per contract drawings and conduct regular checks on plans, drawings, and quantities for accuracy. Perform pre-start site surveys, ensure quality control requirements are met and recorded per client specifications, and operate site calibration checks. Provide engineering support to overcome technical problems, assist in resolving unexpected difficulties, and ensure timely handover of works without outstanding defects. Maintain high standards of Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance while liaising with the Project Manager and installation teams. This short-term CIS role requires nationwide travel and experience in shaft, concrete, and pipe work.
Required Qualifications
- Shaft, concrete and pipe work experience
- Proven track record of setting out on civil engineering projects
- Sound knowledge of construction methods, Health & Safety and legal regulations
- Valid CSCS card
- Flexibility to travel nationwide
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with site-based team and Clients
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Proven troubleshooting skills
