Job Summary
Coordinate with Project Managers, engineers, and subcontractors to drive safe, efficient, and high-quality project outcomes for Downer's Logan Water initiative. Manage subcontractor relationships while supporting procurement, claims, variations, and extension-of-time processes. Lead financial management activities including budgeting, cost forecasting, and cost control to ensure value engineering and constructability reviews succeed. Apply a solutions-focused approach to support Zero Harm principles and deliver fit-for-purpose infrastructure within a changing site environment. Join an integrated trans-Tasman team designing and maintaining critical water, electricity, and telecommunications networks across Australia and New Zealand.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor of Civil Engineering or equivalent engineering qualification
- Minimum 1 year of project engineering experience
- Experience managing subcontractors
- Experience supporting procurement
- Experience supporting claims
- Experience supporting variations
- Experience supporting extension-of-time processes
- Demonstrated capability in financial management
- Demonstrated capability in reporting
- Demonstrated capability in budgeting
- Demonstrated capability in cost forecasting
- Demonstrated capability in cost control
- Experience supporting quality project delivery outcomes
- Experience contributing to constructability reviews
- Experience contributing to fit-for-purpose reviews
