Job Summary
Manage field personnel to ensure compliance with Environmental Health and Safety policies, programs, procedures, and legislative standards. Conduct onsite EHS audits and inspections, analyze incident investigations and Root Cause Analysis, and provide recommendations for improving EHS performance. Develop and deliver project-specific site orientation training and classroom-based EHS training to all personnel under FieldCore control. Review customer permit systems, including requirements for site posting of permits, LOTO, Hot Work, and Confined Space procedures. Ensure all employees are informed of safe working procedures and practices to fulfill their responsibilities and manage required compliance activities. This role requires extensive travel, willingness to work holidays and overtime, and knowledge of Greek safety regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Able to travel extensively to and from projects and various assignments
- Willing to work holidays, weekends and overtime as required by assignments
- Ability to spend considerable time away from home for training and assignments
- Experienced Site Environmental Health and Safety Specialist
- Knowledge of Greek safety regulatory requirements
- Familiar with OHSA regulations
- Completed OSHA 30 Training
- NEBOSH National General Certificate or equivalent or be working towards an Occupational Safety qualification
- Preferably experience and knowledge of the risks involved in the maintenance of equipment in the power generation industry
- Proficiency in the Greek language
- Good English level
