Job Summary
The Site Director will operate a licensed school age child care program ensuring compliance with NH State Licensing and YMCA standards. Responsibilities include planning and leading daily schedules and curriculum, ensuring child safety, supervising staff, maintaining effective communication with parents and school personnel, and executing behavior management techniques. The ideal candidate should possess a high school diploma or equivalent, be at least 20 years old, and have relevant educational qualifications or certifications with substantial experience in child care.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 20 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree in elementary education or recreation, or Associate's degree in early childhood education, or certification as a Recreation Director with 1,000 hours experience working with children, or 12 credits in early childhood education with 1,000 hours experience, or current educator certification by NH Department of Education, or 2,000 hours of experience working with children

- Knowledge of and previous experience with diverse populations (language, culture, race, physical ability, sexual orientation, economic background, etc.)
Additional Requirements
- Must maintain a current medical health form and agree to be fingerprinted for FBI and state criminal background checks.
