Job Summary
Build impactful relationships with children, youth, and families while engaging students and community agencies to connect families to the program. Become a pillar in the school community by maintaining strong ties with administration, teachers, and stakeholders to ensure program visibility. Design high-quality, engaging programming in literacy, STEAM, and social emotional learning while completing administrative duties to ensure smooth program delivery. Create a safe environment for all staff and students through best practices in policies and procedures. Grow and supervise passionate leaders into role models and advocates for the youth in the program. Lead a team of 5-10 staff members, prioritizing safety and supervision during program time.
Required Qualifications
- Associates' degree with 30 credits in Early Childhood Education, Childhood Development, Special Education, Elementary Education, Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Criminal Justice, or Human Services or a related field
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university including 30 credit hours in ECE, Child Development, Special Education, Elementary Education, Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Criminal Justice, or Human Services or a related field
- Supervisory skills and able to lead a team of 5-10 staff
- Prioritize safety and supervision during program time
- Organized and can meet deadlines in a timely manner
- Maintain professionalism at all times
- Walk and stand for the duration for the shift (4 hours during school year, 8 hours during summer)
- Walk at a pace to stay with a group of children during field trips
- Transition between sitting, standing and kneeling, as needed
- Lift and carry 25 lbs
- Available for every week of the year, with the exception of predetermined CORA Holidays or PTO requested days off
- Available for Monday - Friday: 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
- Available for weekend shifts
- Available for travel from CORA's Main Office (19111) to their program site daily
