Job Summary
Site Director role at KinderCare/KIPP Austin Comunidad: Lead and supervise a group of teachers to create engaging classroom experiences using our nationally recognized curriculum; ensure licensing, safety, and educational standards are met at the site; build strong relationships with families, school/district leaders, and community partners; lead recruitment and enrollment efforts and support program delivery for children from 6 weeks to 12 years; demonstrate a passion for educational excellence, empower teachers, and drive a positive, dynamic environment for children and families. Includes responsibilities for leading staff, ensuring site operations, and fostering partnerships to support high-quality early education and after-school programs.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of teaching experience
- Ability to lead and supervise a group of teachers
- Ability to build relationships with families and staff and create a dynamic environment
- Outstanding customer service skills, strong organizational skills, multitasking and managing multiple situations
- Meet state-specific guidelines for the role
- Be physically able to use a computer with basic proficiency and lift a minimum of 40 pounds
- Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents
