Job Summary
Site Director – After School childcare program Lead and manage an after-school program at Sierra Vista Elementary in Las Vegas, NM, with responsibilities including ensuring program compliance with state regulations and Healthy Kids policies, planning and leading engaging activities (arts, STEAM, fitness, academics, homework support), overseeing daily operations (attendance, registration, scheduling, staffing), and maintaining clear family communication via the Playground App. The role emphasizes leadership within a part-time schedule (3:00–6:00 pm) with opportunities for professional growth and a unique benefit of employer-paid childcare for the employee’s own child. Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Option A (Credential/Associate Level): CDA (Child Development Associate) or CCP (Child Care Professional) or Montessori certification or National Administrator Credential (NAC) or Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development + at least 2 years of experience in early childhood or school-age/out-of-school time setting
- Option B (Bachelor’s Level): Bachelor’s degree or higher in Early childhood education or related field + at least 1 year of experience in early childhood or school-age care
- Candidates must successfully pass all required state background checks
- Ability to meet physical demands, including bending, stretching, lifting, and carrying up to 50 pounds
- Positive, professional demeanor with strong interpersonal skills with children, families, and colleagues
