Job Summary
Site Director – After School childcare role at Healthy Kids Programs. Part-time leadership position (3:00–6:00 pm) at Mora, NM location within Sierra Vista Elementary. Responsibilities include program compliance with state regulations and host school requirements, leading hands-on activities aligned with the Healthy Kids curriculum (fitness, STEAM, academics, arts, and homework support), daily operations including attendance, registrations, scheduling, and staffing support, and maintaining clear family communication via the Playground App. The role emphasizes team collaboration with direct supervisor and colleagues to ensure a safe, organized, and engaging environment for children aged 5–12. Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Option A (Credential/Associate Level): CDA (Child Development Associate) OR CCP (Child Care Professional) OR Montessori certification OR National Administrator Credential (NAC) OR Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development plus at least 2 years of experience in early childhood or school-age/out-of-school time setting
- Option B (Bachelor’s Level): Bachelor’s degree or higher in Early childhood education OR related field plus at least 1 year of experience in early childhood or school-age care
- Candidates must successfully pass all required state background checks
- Ability to meet physical demands including bending, stretching, lifting, and carrying up to 50 pounds
- Positive professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills with children, families, and colleagues
- Reliability and punctuality
