Job Summary
The Site Dental Director provides clinical oversight and supervises the Dental Team (Dentists, Hygienists, and Residents), mentoring and offering clinical support while ensuring compliance with DPH, OSHA, and Dental Association regulations. Responsibilities include delivering direct patient care, managing quarterly chart audits and staff reviews, training and orienting dentists and hygienists, coordinating patient care activities, and supporting a Dental Residency program where applicable. The role requires a DDS or DMD, MA licensure, at least three years of professional experience, public health experience preferred, and strong communication, ethics, infection control, and quality-improvement capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- DDS or DMD from an accredited Dental School
- Licensed in Massachusetts to practice Dentistry
- Minimum of three years professional experience
- CPR certified or equivalent
