Job Summary
Lead and coordinate afterschool enrichment activities for youth ages 6-16 at Willis Ave Community Center. Responsibilities include supervising participants, developing age-appropriate activities, communicating with parents/guardians about program activities and attendance, recruiting new participants, maintaining attendance and related records, and administering basic first aid per CPR/First Aid/AED and YMCA safety training. Collaborate with staff to provide a safe, engaging, and structured program experience; work 3:00pm–6:00pm (Sept–June) or 11:00am–6:00pm (July–August).
Required Qualifications
- Certification in CPR, First Aid, AED, and YMCA safety training (must be current).
- Previous experience working with children in a group or educational setting preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate children through activities and positive interactions.
- Commitment to creating a safe and inclusive environment for all participants.
- Background check clearance required.
