Job Summary
Conduct a school-wide needs assessment by collecting objective data and surveying students, families, and staff. Collaborate with administrators to plan school-wide, group-level, and individualized supports for prioritized student needs. Establish a School Support Team, partner with community volunteers and nonprofits to deliver vital resources, and case manage at-risk students based on attendance, behavior, and performance. Strengthen parent relationships through meaningful communication and family engagement events. Collect, track, and report student and school outcomes using the CIS web-based data management system, while administering annual surveys and delivering quarterly progress reports. Research best practices from other Communities In Schools sites and participate in required training and events. This full-time, exempt role reports to the Director of Programs and may involve off-hours support.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, Education or related field
- A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
- Experience in case management

- Experience in information gathering
- Experience in data collection
- Experienced leadership for on-site coordination of service providers, volunteers, parents, students and school staff

- Knowledge of local human service networks and community resources
- Ability to manage details and work in team environment
