Job Summary
Drive student recruitment and enrollment growth by supporting the Admissions team with strategic outreach and guiding prospective families through onboarding. Oversee daily attendance operations, including data transfers, report distribution, and leading focus meetings to establish targeted interventions. Conduct proactive family outreach for absent students via home visits and meetings, while implementing policies to strengthen consistency and engagement. Participate in the Family Empowerment Team and School Leadership Team to strengthen collaboration, connect families to resources, and manage community communications. Serve as a liaison for Students in Temporary Housing, coordinating with NYCDOE and ensuring equitable distribution of resources. Support daily school operations, including lunch duty and hallway supervision, to maintain a safe culture.
Required Qualifications
- DOE Fingerprinted
- 2 years of experience in Community Schools or similar organizations
- 2 years of administrative experience in a school or other social services setting
- Bachelor's degree in education, social work, or other social services profession; OR an Associate degree with at least 3 years of relevant experience
