Job Summary
Site Coordinator for the Garfield After School Program at The Community Youth Center of San Francisco (CYC). Lead day-to-day operations, supervise ASP staff, volunteers, and interns; coordinate and deliver age-appropriate curriculum; manage events, field trips, and community service opportunities; maintain strong relationships with school partners, families, and funders; ensure program compliance and data collection for ongoing improvement; train and support staff; oversee enrollment, scheduling, and attendance targets; implement disciplinary and restorative practices; contribute to organizational events and marketing and ensure safety, budgets, and reporting requirements are met. Strong collaboration with school administration, care teams, and community partners; require Bachelor’s degree and 2 years in youth development (or Associate + 3 years), plus 2+ years supervising staff; excellent communication, organizational, and data-analysis skills; ability to work evenings/weekends and lift 25 lbs; bilingual skills preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields
- 2 years of youth development experience or Associate Degree with 3 years of proven experience in youth development/after school programming
- Minimum 2 years of experience supervising staff and team development
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written)
- Ability to interact with diverse groups of constituents
- Strong organizational skills (records keeping, event planning, space scheduling and coordination, computer/internet use, administrative skills)
- Ability to prepare comprehensive reports and do data analysis
- Capacity to multitask, work independently, and meet strict programmatic deadlines
- Ability to work some evenings and weekends
- Ability to lift or move at least 25lbs
- Bilingual Cantonese, Mandarin, Spanish, or Tagalog strongly preferred
- Ability to travel to required meetings and office locations
