Job Summary
Site Coordinator role overseeing installation, modification, and repair on active project sites in a supervisory capacity. Responsibilities include planning, coordinating and supervising work and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with contract documents and building codes, managing punch lists, recruiting/training skilled trades helpers, establishing safety/work standards, and coordinating material and delivery plans with team and subcontractors. Requires knowledge of construction practices, reading blueprints, and the ability to supervise craft workers, while maintaining good relationships across departments. The role involves active fieldwork on construction sites with physical demands, safety emphasis, and frequent coordination with project leadership; the environment combines field activity with occasional office tasks, long hours during critical project phases, and adherence to safety policies. Required Qualifications
- Graduation from a standard high school, GED or vocational school with experience as a journeyman; or equivalent training and experience
- Ability to supervise skilled and semi-skilled craft workers
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, sketches, drawings
- Strong communication and written/oral skills
- Knowledge of safety hazards and precautions in construction
- Ability to work independently and with teams
- English language proficiency; additional languages encouraged
