Job Summary
Overlook contract crew loadouts while performing animal welfare checks and monitor barn ventilation. Operate Live Haul trucks and forklifts safely to transport fragile loads and load trucks at contract growers. Perform equipment inspections per CSA 2010 guidelines and report problems to supervisors. Follow packers and stock yards weighing guidelines for live poultry and adhere to truck tarping protocols during inclement weather. Requires a valid Class A driver's license, three years driving experience, and ability to lift 100 pounds under dusty conditions. Schedule includes Monday-Friday with weekend work; benefits begin after 60 days.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A drivers license
- Good driving record
- Minimum of 3 years driving experience
- Knowledge of driving and traffic rules
- Some mechanical skill
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds
- Ability to work under dusty adverse conditions
- Must possess a Good Driving Record with a minimum of 3 years driving experience
- Valid class A license
