Job Summary
Site Coordinator for the Boys & Girls Clubs of North Central Illinois oversees a team of Youth Development staff delivering safe, engaging after-school programming at a local site. Responsibilities include supervising staff, maintaining appropriate staff-to-member ratios, ensuring a clean and organized space, building relationships with youth, families, school personnel, and community partners, guiding behavior and program quality, supporting youth in physical, social, artistic, and life-skill development, promoting character and educational readiness, recognizing staff and member achievements, and assisting with front desk tasks, light food preparation, and administrative duties as needed. The role requires leadership, organization, effective communication, staff development, and commitment to mission-driven, trauma-informed youth programming.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education preferred
- Experience working with youth preferred
- Prior supervisory or management experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license required
- Willingness and eligibility to train as a 12-passenger van driver
