Job Summary
Lead integration and planning of the site OpEx/CI implementation at Marlborough, MA, aligning the CI roadmap with business priorities and financial targets. Establish and facilitate the site PMO, manage opportunity pipelines, governance boards, and benefit validation using enterprise-tracking tools. Drive improvement projects from opportunity definition (data analysis, VOC, problem definition) through realization and financial validation, applying Lean, Six Sigma, and Industry 4.0 approaches. Launch cross-function improvement initiatives with clearly defined charters, benefits, milestones, and resource needs; own portfolio-level delivery. Lead digital CI initiatives (Power BI dashboards, Power Apps, visual management, advanced analytics, connected-worker tools) to accelerate decision-making. Collaborate with site leadership to map current-state maturity, identify high-value opportunities (margin, EBITDA), and define a credible Industry 4.0 roadmap. Coordinate interdependencies across Operations, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, EHS, and Finance; drive execution of the site improvement roadmap. Lead workshops and mentor leadership and teams in operational excellence techniques (5S, VSM, Kaizen, TEEP-OEE, structured problem solving). Build local CI capability and promote employee engagement in OpEx. Participate in CI network meetings for cross-site learning and introduce new approaches and tools. Translate operational performance into business impact with financial cases and progress reporting to Site Leadership and BU stakeholders. SAP ERP experience is preferred; exposure to P&L oversight and a strong background in supply chain and logistics, ideally in a chemical manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Information Technology, or related discipline; advanced degree preferred
- 10+ years of experience in manufacturing, engineering, continuous improvement, supply chain, or operations leadership at a plant or multi-site level
- Experience applying Lean and Six Sigma to deliver measurable performance gains in a manufacturing environment
- Certified Black Belt or equivalent strongly preferred
- Digital skills with Power BI, Power Apps, visual management/digital performance systems; familiarity with MES, data historians, advanced analytics, Industry 4.0 / connected-worker technologies
- Project and program management experience managing complex portfolios from start to finish; strong PMO and governance discipline
- Influential leadership and ability to lead through influence across levels and functions without direct authority
- Strong understanding of P&L, margin, and EBITDA drivers; ability to connect operational improvements to financial outcomes
- Excellent communication, coaching, and facilitation skills; drive for impact and leadership through teaching and coaching
- Demonstrated alignment with company core values
