Job Summary
Conduct grading design, roadway design, storm water management systems design, water and sanitary sewer design, and erosion and sediment control design. Perform permitting and code research, write specifications, and prepare and submit permit applications. Participate in summer-long group projects addressing firm strategy issues and attend professional development workshops including career planning and a DiSC assessment. Gain hands-on project experience applying classroom knowledge to real-world challenges while collaborating with senior leaders. Summer 2027 placement in the Gainesville, VA office with a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
Required Qualifications
- Pursuing Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Knowledge of Site / Civil engineering practices including grading design, roadway design, storm water management systems design, water and sanitary sewer design, and erosion and sediment control design
- Proficiency using CADD and Microsoft Office software
