Job Summary
Oversee all on-site activities for a high-end luxury villa in Cabarete, ensuring full compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards. Conduct regular site inspections to address quality concerns, verify adherence to approved project plans and drawings, and monitor expenses to stay within budget. Collaborate with the Project Manager and Head of Construction to manage schedules, allocate resources, and coordinate subcontractors and skilled labor. Act as the primary liaison between the construction site and remote design teams, stepping in for leadership when needed to contribute to key decisions. This full-time role requires a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering or Architecture, 8+ years of site experience in the Dominican Republic, and proficiency in English.
Required Qualifications
- Relocation will be necessary
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture
- Post-graduate studies in Construction Management or related fields
- Minimum of 8 years in construction site roles
- Completed at least 3 full-cycle projects in Dominican Republic
- Proven track record in luxury villa or high-end residential construction
- Ability to provide clear examples of resolving technical or logistical challenges during past construction projects
- Proficiency in construction software and tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, MS Project, and other relevant applications
- Strong knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and construction practices
- Proficiency in English
