Job Summary
Site Civil Engineer with 4-6 years of residential site design experience, focusing on grading, drainage, stormwater management, paving, and permitting. Works on commercial and multifamily residential projects as part of a design team under licensed engineers. Responsibilities include coordinating site civil designs to meet project objectives, schedules, and budgets; performing site visits and data collection; assisting in design of grading, earthwork, and stormwater management; preparing reports and cost estimates; creating design plans using AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil 3D; and supporting preparation of Site Investigation Reports, grading and drainage reports, paving assessments, and other required documents.
Required Qualifications
- BSCE from ABET accredited civil engineering program
- 4-6 years of site/civil engineering experience with the ability/plan to obtain a P.E. license
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil 3D for site design
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Valid driver’s license and own transportation
- Ability to work both independently and in a design team
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with grading, earthwork analysis, and stormwater management
