Job Summary
Execute stormwater management planning and design, including calculations, site grading, roadway layouts, and utility designs for residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Perform tributary drainage area analyses, prepare permit packages and technical reports, and develop cost estimates for conceptual and final design phases. Conduct field work for data gathering, surveys, and construction observations while assisting with transportation aspects such as access and parking maneuverability. This role operates within a four-day work week at NV5's Morristown, NJ office, supporting the firm's ENR Top 500 status in infrastructure and energy markets.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in civil, environmental or water resources engineering
- Minimum of 1-5 years related experience
- Strong understanding of AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D or MicroStation
- Experience with modeling software, such as AutoTURN, DiaLux Evo
- Detailed oriented
- Excellent writing skills
- EIT
