Job Summary
Oversee architectural works on site to ensure compliance with design intent, specifications, and codes while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams for successful project handover. Supervise and monitor daily site activities, review shop drawings and material submittals, and manage RFIs, technical queries, and corrective actions. Conduct inspections for QA/QC checks on finishes, façade systems, and waterproofing, and lead snagging/punch lists to maintain design integrity. Prepare daily/weekly reports, maintain site records, and resolve construction issues promptly with contractors and consultants. Bachelor's degree in Architecture and 10 years of site-based experience required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture
- 10 years of site-based architectural experience on building projects (e.g., residential, commercial, mixed-use, institutional)
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, architectural detailing, finishes, and façade systems
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Familiarity with Revit/BIM
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office
- Strong skills in document review tools (e.g., Bluebeam)
- Solid understanding of QA/QC procedures
- Solid understanding of building codes
- Solid understanding of fire and life safety standards
- Solid understanding of accessibility standards
- Proven ability to review shop drawings
- Proven ability to review submittals
- Proven ability to review method statements
- Proven ability to perform site inspections
