Site Agent - Gas

Job Summary
Manage day-to-day site operations on gas infrastructure and capital delivery projects, ensuring all works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with project specifications. Oversee subcontractors, direct labour, and specialist contractors while coordinating works on live gas infrastructure sites including AGIs, PRIs, and offtake installations. Ensure compliance with RAMS, permit systems, and client procedures by conducting site inspections, toolbox talks, and safety briefings. Liaise directly with clients, engineers, suppliers, and operational teams to monitor progress against programme and report updates to senior management.
Required Qualifications
- SCO 1, 2 & 4 on the Cadent Network or working towards under mentorship
- Experience managing live gas infrastructure works (IP-HP)
- Proven experience managing gas infrastructure or utilities projects
- Previous experience working on Gas Distribution Network projects
- Strong understanding of gas capital delivery works
- SHEA Gas
- SMSTS
- Temporary Works Supervisor
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Good understanding of CDM Regulations and temporary works procedures
