Job Summary
Review MAES and month-end booking entries, communicate on time and document all month-end entries to SSC; manage stock-in-transit bookings with SSC; track provisions for risks and liabilities; manage fixed assets and depreciation start; handle site Closing Binder preparation and validation; participate in BU Closing Binder reviews; handle AP/AR issues and communicate with SSC on progress; resolve unposted entries and ensure invoicing prerequisites for prototypes, tooling, R&D and intercompany; coordinate travel expenses with SSC; interface with Country Cash Manager for approvals; maintain local financial archiving under SSC guidance; ensure compliance with Valeo ethics and compliance programs; role located at Valeo site in Tokyo, Japan.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field
- 3 to 5 years of practical experience in Site Accounting Support or as an Accountant
- Bilingual (English and Japanese) with professional fluency
