Job Summary
Program, set-up, and operate CNC sinker EDM machines to manufacture precision tooling, mold components, and fixtures to engineering specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, CAD models, and engineering drawings while diagnosing machining and programming issues to implement effective solutions. Inspect completed components using precision measuring equipment to ensure dimensional accuracy and perform routine machine maintenance in a clean, organized work area. Requires experience with CNC EDM equipment, CAD/CAM software, and injection molding tooling. Required Qualifications
- Experience in programming and operating CNC EDM equipment (sinker EDM)
- Strong knowledge of tooling, machining practices, and precision manufacturing
- Ability to read blue prints and work to close tolerances
- Experience with CAD/CAM software and precision measuring instruments
- Knowledge of injection molding process and tooling requirements
- Strong mechanical aptitude with problem solving ability
- A team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
- High attention to detail and strong commitment to quality work
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively
- Well-organized and self-motivated with the ability to manage tasks independently
- Highschool diploma or equivalent
- Experience operating CNC EDM equipment
