Job Summary
Teach singing and piano lessons to students ages 4 and up, including small groups and bands. Prepare students for community performances, school events, and competitions. Maintain internal lesson notes and adhere to the school's lessons program. Work in an in-school setting with a regular schedule exceeding 25 hours weekly. Required Qualifications
- Singing and Piano teaching experience
- Experience with guitar (to accompany singers)
- College degree in music
- 3+ years of teaching experience
- Experienced performers
- Great with children
- Outgoing personality
- Passion for teaching students ages 4 and up
- Passion for teaching Adults
- Ability to create a warm, engaging, and encouraging music learning experience in 1-on-1
- Comfortable leading small groups/bands
- Classroom management skills
- Must pass background test, showing suitability to teach children
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to follow program direction
- W2 employee status (not independent contractor)
- In-school position availability (not in-home or online-only)
- At least 1+ years' experience teaching singing and piano to ages 5 to Adult
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Music Education or related field preferred
