Job Summary
Perform preventive maintenance, diagnose simulator and aircraft system issues, and conduct visual alignments across office, on-site, field, and laboratory environments. Run and evaluate FAA ATG/QTG tests, perform pre-flight and post-flight checks, and execute software and hardware modifications to resolve complex problems. Assist Engineering with design changes, support Group Lead with daily operations, and manage logistics including parts receipt and validation. Work a 4-on/4-off shift pattern in Gatwick with a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Direct experience working as a simulation technician
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Fluency in English
- Legal right to work in the UK
Desired Qualifications
- Proficiency with a wide range of test equipment
- Proficiency with software diagnostics and utilities on at least one type of simulator
- Ability to perform in-depth analysis and research for hardware modifications and upgrades
- Ability to support Engineering with modifications, design changes, and software enhancements
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and suite
