Job Summary
Simulator Technician role performing preventive/corrective maintenance on CAE simulators and related systems; on-site, in-field, and in-office tasks with occasional design-related activities; ensure simulator availability, performance, and customer satisfaction; includes diagnostics, maintenance management, pre/post-flight checks, hardware refurbishments, training, and logistics duties. Requirements include a two-year technical degree or equivalent training, at least 3 years of simulator experience, proficiency with diagnostic tools, and basic IP networking knowledge; English fluency. Required Qualifications
- Two-year technical degree or equivalent related training
- Minimum of three (3) years of direct simulator experience
- Ability to troubleshoot to system level on multiple types of simulators
- Proficiency in the use of test and diagnostic equipment
- Ability to use and interpret available diagnostic tools on multiple types of simulators
- Ability to perform preventive maintenance, pre-flight, and post-flight checks on simulators within the fleet
- Ability to perform in-depth visual adjustments and setups on at least one (1) type of visual system
- Ability to assist with refurbishment projects and other hardware modifications
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and applications
- Basic knowledge of IP networking, including addressing, VLANs, TCP/IP, and DHCP management
- Fluency in English
