Job Summary
Simulator Maintenance Technician II applies knowledge to conduct system preventative maintenance and troubleshoot simulator devices and aircraft systems using maintenance manuals and other technical documents. Responsibilities include solving problems, assisting with minor hardware and software modifications to improve operability, performing quality control inspections, tracking repair status in the logistics database, supporting engineering requirements, interpreting advanced technical data, diagnosing malfunctions, conducting operability/readiness tests, and providing networking and information systems support for training devices. Must have or be eligible for the required security clearance, and be able to meet physical demands (lifting, climbing, crawling, color discernment) and travel as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Security Clearance or eligibility for requisite clearance
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
- Travel domestically and internationally as required
- Experience with maintenance of simulators and aircraft systems (including troubleshooting)
