Job Summary
The Simulation Training Instructor/Operator provides simulation and gunnery training and operator training/certification across ARNG training programs and DoD/ federal agencies, ensuring training systems and materials are operational prior to classes and supporting nationwide exercises. Responsibilities include technical integration and training of ARNG Command Unique TADSS, researching doctrine for training standards, drafting policy standards and procedures, coordinating with State units, and providing surge support for major exercises (CRX) per ARNG master schedule. Travel to multiple performance locations is required to support the Army National Guard Training and Range Support Program, with TS-MATS support and DIAP tasks as part of the mission.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Training and doctrinal implementation of TADSS
- Experience as an instructor/staff/cadre member
- Experience employing Armor and Infantry TADSS in live training for Active, Reserve, and National Guard elements
- Technical knowledge of TC-20.31, Training and Qualification Crew
- Experience operating EST, CFFT, VCOT, MILES, and UGT-I TADSS
- Valid licensing and training to operate Government Owned or Leased Vehicles and/or forklift machinery
- Desirable: Abrams, Bradley, Stryker, Master Gunner, and Senior Gunner qualifications
- DoD SECRET Clearance required
