Job Summary
Simulation Training Instructor/Operator supports ARNG Training & Range Support, providing hands-on simulation and gunnery training (EST, CFFT, VCOT, MILES), operator training/certification, and national-level TADSS integration across multiple sites. Responsibilities include ensuring training systems are operational, developing and revising POIs and lesson plans, providing troubleshooting and guidance, drafting policy standards, coordinating system development and fielding, utilizing TS-MATS, and supporting major exercises (CRX, RVTP, SRP). Requires DoD SECRET clearance eligibility, 3+ years of TADSS training/doctrinal implementation, and active license/vehicle operation training; extensive experience with EST, CFFT, VCOT, MILES, UGT-I; locations across the United States and travels for ARNG-supported events.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Training and doctrinal implementation of TADSS
- Experience as an instructor/staff/cadre member
- Experience operating TADSS (EST, CFFT, VCOT, MILES, UGT-I)
- Experience with Armor and Infantry TADSS in live training for Active/Reserve/National Guard
- Knowledge of TC-20.31, Training and Qualification Crew
- Must have state/federal licensing to operate Government Owned or Leased Vehicles and/or forklift machinery
- DoD SECRET clearance preferred/able to obtain
- Travel capability to support ARNG units and major exercises
