Job Summary
Simulation Training Instructor/Operator for the Army National Guard Training and Range Support Program provides hands-on and doctrinally aligned TADSS training across multiple locations nationwide. Responsibilities include delivering simulation and gunnery training (EST, CFFT, VCOT, MILES, etc.), operator training/certification, performing Ground TADSS functions, providing nationwide exercise support, developing and updating lesson plans and POIs, ensuring equipment readiness, resolving operational issues, drafting policy standards, coordinating system development and fielding, and supporting major ARNG exercises with surge capability. Requires travel to numerous training sites, TS-MATS utilization, and readiness to work under ARNG/DoD guidelines with an active DoD SECRET clearance eligible. Travel will be required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Training and doctrinal implementation of TADSS
- Experience as an instructor/staff/cadre member
- Experience employing Armor and Infantry TADSS in live training for Active, Reserve, and National Guard elements
- Technical knowledge of TC-20.31, Training and Qualification Crew
- Experience operating EST, CFFT, VCOT, MILES, UGT-I (Un-stabilized Gunnery Trainer – Individual)
- Valid licensing and training to operate Government Owned or Leased Vehicles (GSA lease) and/or forklift machinery
- Abrams, Bradley, Stryker, Master Gunner and Senior Gunner qualifications desirable but not required
- Ability to obtain DoD SECRET Clearance
