Job Summary
The Simulation Training Instructor Lead supports YSG’s contract for the Army National Guard’s Training and Range Support Program, providing supervision of Simulation Training Instructors/Operators, ensuring doctrine compliance and training effectiveness, delivering simulation and gunnery training (EST, CFFT, VCOT, MILES, etc.), operator training/certification, and nationwide TADSS delivery and integration. Responsibilities include preparation of training systems and materials, policy/doumentation development, DIAP processes for fielded devices, and collaboration with ARNG units during major exercises and CRX rotations. Location at Fort Benning, GA with travel; DoD SECRET clearance required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Training and doctrinal implementation of TADSS
- Experience as an instructor/staff/cadre member
- Experience in employing Armor and Infantry TADSS in live training for Active, Reserve, and National Guard elements
- Must have technical knowledge of TC-20.31, Training and Qualification Crew. TC 3-20.31-4
- Must have experience operating EST, CFFT, VCOT, MILES, UGT-I (Un-stabilized Gunnery Trainer – Individual)
- Appropriate valid licensing and training required by state and federal laws to operate Government Owned or Leased Vehicles (i.e. GSA lease) and/or forklift machinery
- Abrams, Bradley, Stryker, Master Gunner and Senior Gunner qualification desirable but not required
- DoD SECRET clearance
