Job Summary
Simulation Specialist oversees and operates simulation technologies for learning and patient safety, runs scenarios with faculty instructors, maintains and troubleshoots AV and clinical equipment, supports data visualization and survey tools, and travels to support center-based and in situ simulations across Intermountain Health network.
Required Qualifications
- Two years of experience in clinical or technical environments.
- Experience working with and troubleshooting audio visual or clinical equipment.
- Experience planning, participating in, and managing a variety of data visualization tools.
- Experience working with basic computer programs including word processing, spreadsheets, and email.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding job assignments and sensitive issues.
- Ability to express technical information clearly and simply to non-technical persons.
- Ability to learn new software and hardware quickly and independently.
