Job Summary
Internship in Simulation & Perception: focus on procedural scene generation in simulation (terrain, lighting, asset placement), synthetic data generation for ML models across varied environmental conditions, enhancing physics-based sensor models for LiDAR and cameras, and automated test creation for construction-site scenarios and machine behaviors (e.g., excavation with truck loading). Requirements include Master’s level study, advanced Python, C++, and experience with ML pipelines and 3D perception (object detection, point clouds). Beneficial skills include experience with robotics simulation tools (Gazebo, MuJoCo, NVIDIA Isaac Sim), ROS 2, Linux, Git, sensor modeling, synthetic data generation, research experience, and interest/experience in heavy construction or autonomous vehicles. Required Qualifications
- Master's level study in robotics, computer science, mechanical or electrical engineering
- Advanced proficiency in Python
- Working knowledge of C++
