Job Summary
Simulation Integration Engineer to lead the integration of full-vehicle cross-functional co-simulation packages for vehicle development. Serves as liaison between Plant Modeling, Tools, and internal development teams to deliver simulation environments on time and with quality. Identifies requirements, schedules, and deploys simulation projects for virtual vehicle design, development, and validation. Integrates plant models with ECU models and performs virtual system verification. Develops and tests virtual controller models for use across HWIO, RTOS, controller I/O, and ECU behavioral models. Creates automated test suites, supports released simulations, and helps benchmark next-generation simulation tools. Works within SAFe/Agile, and follows a hybrid work policy (3 days in-office, 2 days remote). Requires a bachelor's degree and 2 years of relevant experience; proficiency with MATLAB/Simulink, GT Suite, AMESim, C/C++, and Python; strong emphasis on cross-functional collaboration and documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or related field of study
- 2 years of experience as a Simulation Engineer, Integration Engineer, System Engineer, Staff Engineer, or related role
- 2 years of experience with MATLAB, Simulink, in plant model development and integration; Integrating models including GT Suite and AMESim; First-principle physics modeling and analysis; Multidisciplinary systems analysis
- 1 year of experience with C/C++ and Python
