Job Summary
Simulation Expert specializing in semiconductor processes and materials to model and simulate plasma patterning and deposition. Responsibilities include multi-scale simulation of plasma and deposition processes, combining atomistic, continuum, analytical, and machine learning approaches, translating simulation insights into process improvements, validating simulations with experimental wafer data, and transferring outcomes to high-volume manufacturing. Collaboration across research, development and production, knowledge transfer to partners, and proactive topic ownership in an international setting. Requires self-drive, initiative, and the ability to work independently; degree in engineering, physics, chemistry, materials, computational science (Master/PhD) and strong English skills (Finnish/German a plus).
Required Qualifications
- Master or PhD in engineering, physics, chemistry, materials, computational science, or equivalent
- background in semiconductor process simulation, ideally plasma and/or deposition
- knowledge of multi-scale modelling (atomistic + continuum)
- experience with analytical methods and/or machine learning
- experience in validating simulations with experimental data
- independent topic ownership is an advantage
- ability to work in an international environment
- Finnish or German language skills are a plus
