Simulation Engineer

Job Summary
Estimate process capability and efficiency by utilizing discrete event simulations, reliability models, and downtime data for tooling and equipment. Meet with project engineers to understand customer requirements, then develop tooling reliability models and process flow simulations to estimate throughput and identify bottlenecks. Run statistical sampling techniques and employ DOE or iterative simulations to analyze performance factors. Present study findings to management and customers, suggesting improvements for simultaneous engineering while ensuring recommendations are integrated into the process. Adhere to safety and environmental regulations, participate in continuous improvement, and provide occasional travel to customer sites.
Required Qualifications
- Be willing for occasional short/extended travel to customer sites.
- Understand and follow safety & environmental regulations and identify safety/environmental concerns in Company's Facilities as well as in the Customer's facilities.
- Adhere to the Quality System and participate in continuous improvement.
- Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job.
