Job Summary
Simulation Designer role on Marelli’s ELS team involves leading quotations and defining display backlight/HUD simulations, analyzing display uniformity and lens design, assessing HUD eye-box/virtual-image relations, and delivering optical solutions aligned with customer concepts. You will coordinate with suppliers and Marelli R&D to advance optical component development, organize design reviews across global teams, and apply innovative optical design concepts. Required skills include optical simulation (Zemax/SPEOS), image- and geometric-optics knowledge, colorimetry/photometry, display backlight experience, and proficiency with CATIA/CREO; English and Chinese language abilities are appreciated. A hybrid work model is offered.
Required Qualifications
- Above 3 years of experience in Optical Simulation relating projects
- Image-optics and geometry optics knowledge
- Non-imaging optics knowledge
- Colorimetry and Photometry knowledge
- Display backlight knowledge
- An experience in display field or Tier1 would be a plus
- Zemax and(or) SPEOS optical simulation software(mandatory)
- CATIA , CREO or similar mechanical software
