Job Summary
Design, validate, and maintain electrical and logical profiles for SIM and eSIM products while developing Java Card applets for services compliant with 3GPP, ETSI, and GSMA standards. Create technical documentation, collaborate with cross-functional teams spanning mobile core networks and device vendors, and support the development, testing, and integration of SIM-based applications using smart card test tools. Participate in technical reviews, troubleshooting, and team meetings to deliver advanced connectivity solutions. New hires work onsite five days a week during the six-month probation period.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related discipline
- 3+ years of relevant experience in telecoms technology, connectivity, or related sectors
- Proven experience with SIM/eSIM technologies and protocols (APDU, ISO 7816)
- Knowledge of 3GPP, ETSI, and GSMA standards
- Experience with Java, Java Card, or scripting languages
- Familiarity with mobile network elements and smart card technologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Quality-focused mindset
- Self-motivated
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- New hires at Cubic3 are required to work onsite five days a week during their six-month probation period
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Git
- Experience with Postman
- Experience with smart card test tools (e.g., Comprion)
- Exposure to Kanban/Agile methodologies
