Job Summary
Assist the Silver Spoon chef in providing a healthy, fresh selection of hot and cold menu items to Deer Valley team members. Responsibilities include forecasting, payroll, scheduling, recruiting, training, supervising, and disciplining kitchen staff; directing and motivating culinary personnel; maintaining safe and sanitary working conditions in accordance with health codes; developing new menu items; and ensuring equipment and facility upkeep while delivering high-quality food presentations for a year-round operation.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the culinary industry
- Current Utah State food handler’s permit and/or a Serve Safe Certificate
- Able to lift and carry at least 40 lbs
- Experience with international, domestic, and special diet cuisine preparation
