Job Summary
Greet guests, take orders, and prepare food while operating cash registers and handling credit card transactions in compliance with PCI standards. Maintain a themed environment, clean tables, and implement shop closing procedures while utilizing suggestive selling. Work in a fast-paced environment, standing on uneven terrain for extended periods, and wear personal protective equipment as required. Must complete in-house ServSafe food training and possess basic math skills for making change. Full-time seasonal role from now through January 2, 2027, with free admission to Silver Dollar City attractions and access to employee health services.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
- Basic math skills to include making change and counting change back to guests
- Must be able to complete an in-house ServSafe food training class
- Lift, carry, push and pull an average weight of 25 pounds to 50 pounds maximum
- Stand/walk on uneven terrain, inclines, asphalt, and concrete for 67 – 100% of the time
- Work in extreme weather conditions
- Use fine motor skills regularly
- Wear personal protective gear (Hair restraints, food safe gloves, etc) correctly most of the day
- Remember locations, understand and carry out instructions
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with high volume food preferred
