Job Summary
Seasonal parade performer role focusing on choreographed dance, character portrayal, and high-energy guest engagement during evening performances. Responsibilities include performing as part of a group, learning choreography through rehearsals, using costumes/props to bring characters to life, maintaining character throughout performances, and completing hair/makeup according to standards. Physical duties include walking up to 3 miles per shift,standing on varied surfaces, and working outdoors in potentially challenging weather. Requires comfortable interaction with guests, effective communication, and the ability to adapt quickly in a live parade environment. Prior dance experience (1–3 months) preferred, and candidates should be able to lift up to 100 pounds as part of performance requirements when applicable.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- One to three months of dance experience and/or training preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Must be able to perform choreographed movements and dancing
- Physically able to walk up to 3 miles nightly and perform in various weather conditions
- Able to work as part of a group
- Hair and makeup performed per performance standards
