Job Summary
Set up and operate screen-printing equipment to apply logos, labels, and artwork to fabricated metal components. Prepare screens, inks, and fixtures, then accurately position and align markings according to drawings and specifications. Mix and maintain inks for color consistency while inspecting parts before, during, and after printing for quality. Perform masking, cleaning, and pre- and post-printing operations, and identify defects or equipment issues immediately. Maintain clean work areas and follow all safety procedures and quality standards. Read blueprints, work orders, and customer specifications to meet established production schedules.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive production tasks
- Ability to safely lift and move materials and components as required
- Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic
- Ability to read and follow work instructions, drawings, and specifications
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Ability to use basic measuring and inspection equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a production team
Desired Qualifications
- Previous screen-printing experience preferred
- Experience printing on metal is a plus
- Manufacturing or metal fabrication experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
