Job Summary
Operate highly complex fabrication equipment in a cleanroom environment, following prescribed procedures and Microchip policies. Support equipment qualification and calibration across multiple pilot types; run experiments under supervision, document results, and make timely production disposition decisions. Assist engineers/technicians with corrective actions to resolve process and equipment problems, perform routine checks, update progress reports and tracking, and manage packing/unpacking/shipping/receiving of lots in the fab. Collect, analyze, and summarize data; interface with departments to coordinate priority tasks; learn to use the SA Shipping Authorization system; and maintain a focus on improving manufacturing efficiency. Requires a High School Diploma or GED and prior cleanroom experience preferred, with strong attention to detail, independent work ability, and effective written/oral communication. Shift: D, 1pm-1:12am, Wednesday/Thursday/Friday and alternating Saturdays.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous Fab production experience in a clean room environment (preferred)
- Ability to multi-task with attention to detail
- Ability to follow written and verbal directions
- Good work history and punctuality
- Proficiency in basic computer/mathematical reading
- Strong communication skills
