Job Summary
Lead Sr. Signal Integrity Verification Engineer responsible for executing Power Integrity (PI) and Signal Integrity (SI) tools, developing scripts to address PCB design/manufacturing issues, defining design methodologies to improve quality and productivity, and coordinating with CAD tool vendors and PCB vendors to evaluate materials and stackups for in-house server motherboards. The role emphasizes collaboration with cross-functional teams, strong communication, and a results-driven mindset to deliver robust high-speed SI/PI solutions for data-center/networking products.
Required Qualifications
- Sr. Signal Integrity Verification Engineer
- Strong communication skills in English
- Hands on script development and coding
- Familiar with CADENCE SKILL preferred but not required
- Knowledge/experience with PCB layout tool Allegro a plus
- Knowledge/experience for PI in PDN DC voltage drop, DC current density, decoupling capacitors and AC transient by SIwave a plus
- Knowledge/experience for high speed SI in component/channel modeling by HFSS and SIwave, and circuit/channel simulations by HSPICE and ADS a plus
- Good understanding with PCB manufacturing and design is preferred but not required
- Team player to engage and work closely with different teams
- Discipline to follow rules and execute tasks flawlessly
- Self motivated to ramp up fast in tackling unfamiliar issues
- Result oriented to deliver robust solutions within tough schedules
- Hands on script developments and coding
