Job Summary
Signal Integrity Engineer responsible for design, simulation, characterization, and application of high-speed electrical connectors and cable-based interconnects; identify and resolve SI issues in PCB layouts; support internal Sales Engineers for product break-in strategies; apply circuit theory and high-speed digital transmission/PCB layout principles; collaborate on multi-disciplinary teams for next-generation high-speed backplane interconnect products.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Electrical Engineering or Physics
- Hands-on experience with frequency-domain and time-domain component and circuit characterization
- Experience with signal integrity measurements and debugging with TDR,VNA, pattern generators, error detectors and similar measurement equipment
- Understanding of electro-magnetic principles
