Job Summary
Lead a team of 20+ engineers designing copper-based I/O cable assemblies for high-bandwidth applications supporting data rates up to 448 Gbps/lane. Translate customer requirements into innovative product designs, guiding them through development, qualification, and transition to volume production sites. Collaborate with internal teams and global customers to define product performance, ensuring engineering excellence across next-gen cloud, data center, 5G, and enterprise markets. Drive technology and product roadmaps while presenting vision and solutions to key stakeholders. Mentor engineering team members, foster technical growth, and share best practices to champion continuous improvement in design methodology and workflow. Solve high-speed design challenges including signal integrity, simulation, and test methodologies, while supporting global factories in ramping up production and establishing test limits.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in engineering management
- proven experience managing high-speed signal integrity engineering teams
Desired Qualifications
- M.S.
- Experience with engineering simulation and analysis tools, such as Ansys HFSS and Designer, CST Microwave
- Experience with engineering measurements and debugging, such as TDR, VNA, pattern generators, error detectors
- Experience in component design and application of high-speed cables/connectors into communications equipment
